Included with the
David Winter Cottages releases for 1999 was a very special limited edition
piece, " The Millennium at Horseshoe Bay". Only 2,000 of this limited edition
piece were made and it was only available during 1999. Also only a very few
(possible only a couple of hundred) were released to UK stockists. This piece
is approx 33cm high and is priced at £350. Please see below for a picture

It is reported that "The
residents of this village are busy planning the biggest celebration they have
ever known - The Horseshoe Bay Millennium Festival. It has been many months in
the planning. A huge procession will commence the festivities, beginning at the
quayside and ending at the church. All buildings lining the route are being
adorned with flower garlands and multi-coloured bunting. Children will scatter
flower petals from the upper windows, and those taking part in the procession
will be in fancy dress. Once darkness falls, a thosand paper boats containing
lit candles will be set afloat on the calm waters of the bay. We expect the
locals will be partying until dawn!" |
